The largest local ice manufacturer desired to double their production capabilities. Work required occupied phase building expansion to minimize disruption to Ice King’s operations during construction. Willmeng facilitated the addition of two new ice machines and two new bagging lines. Work included complete replacement of the critical Reverse Osmosis equipment, addition of a new cooling tower and multiple condensers. Both loading docks were expanded while the plant was operational and a 4,000-square-foot cooler building was built to accommodate the new RO system. The project was coordinated to minimize downtime and get the bulk of the work done during Ice King’s low demand window.
