The terminal concessions expansion constituted the second component in the PMGA Program. This entirely air-side project encompassed the construction of a new 3,000 SF “mid-concourse” connecting two existing terminal buildings, the addition of a masonry building adjoining the mid-concourse to house a restaurant, and the construction of a 500 SF “bump-out” adjacent to the restaurant for a future concessionaire.

The mid-concourse enclosure replaced an outdoor walkway covered by an aged steel canopy. Modern finishes, such as aluminum composite panels and polished concrete flooring, enhance the mid-concourse, while exposed brick, stainless steel equipment, and distinctive decor lend character to the restaurant. Sitework included an exposed aggregate patio and extensive landscaping. With safety and security presenting overriding concerns, our team meticulously crafted logistics and phasing plans weeks in advance.
