The Douglas Allred Company recently broke ground on two additional office buildings at their Park Place Development on Price Corridor. Both of these three-story buildings will be 150,000 square feet and

located on the northeast corner of Price and Willis roads. These buildings will have the capacity to bring approximately 1,800 jobs to Chandler.

In the past few years, the Douglas Allred Company has completed multiple significant leases in Chandler at the Park Place Development. Some of these leases include Northrop Grumman (633K sq. ft.), Voya Financial (150K sq. ft.), Allstate (150K sq. ft.), CVS Health (98K sq. ft.), Toyota Financial (63K sq. ft.), and LoanDepot (53K sq. ft.).

“We would like to thank the Douglas Allred Company for their continued investment in Chandler and the future employment opportunities these office buildings will bring,” stated Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke. “Chandler’s ability to develop talent locally and attract talent from around the world is a significant factor in the continued corporate site selection momentum we are experiencing.”

“We are excited about breaking ground on another phase of Allred Park Place in Chandler,” stated President David Allred. “The City of Chandler has been a great partner in bringing quality tenants to the area.”

Designed by Balmer Architectural Group, this project marks yet another partnership between Willmeng and Douglas Allred Co., adding to the already planned and built 1.53 million square feet in Park Place, comprised of office, manufacturing and retail buildings.

Willmeng Construction was selected as the general contractor on the project to deliver two three-story buildings totaling 300,000 square feet and an 800-stall parking structure. Upon completion, the project will offer 10- to 12-foot celling heights, high-quality finishes, and a six per 1,000 parking ratio.

“We are thrilled to be moving dirt and developing another 300,000 square feet on Price Corridor,” stated Vice President Cathy Exeter. “There is no other land like this left on Price Road when it comes to proximity to freeways, retail, restaurants and hotels. Completion date for this project, consisting of two 150,000 square foot buildings, is September 2021.”

“We’re excited to see another phase of Park Place kick off,” stated James Murphy, CEO of Willmeng. “The Douglas Allred Company has proven that they can and will deliver in all market conditions. We were excited to be a part of the team in the middle of the last recession delivering Infusionsoft (Keap), it was a tremendous accomplishment to deliver Northrop Grumman in one of the busiest markets that the state has ever experienced on a very aggressive build-to-suit schedule, and we’re thankful to kick off another speculative phase of Park Place as the world grapples with Covid-19. These are challenging times that provide great perspective in all things. Evidence of confidence and staying true to a model that has stood the test of time, over decades, is truly something to be thankful for.”
