“I wanted to take a moment to thank Willmeng CEO James Murphy and his team for the effort they have put in over the last few months and the extraordinary lengths you took to make our ribbon cutting a success,” said Banner Health Project Executive Bill Smith. “I have heard nothing but praise for our project and could not have gotten to where we are without your support and the hard work of your team. We have come a long way in a short time and could not have done it without their dedication. You must be an amazing leader to inspire such an awesome team. Great job, and thank you for your support.”

Some of the key features of this three-story, build-to-suit sports medicine clinic include a physical therapy and sports performance center on the first floor. The sports performance center features an indoor half-court basketball area and a lighted, athletic synthetic turf agility training field to use during physical therapy. There is also an imaging center for both MRIs and X-rays on the first floor as well. A health clinic will be housed on the second floor. On the third floor there is an ambulatory surgical center with six operation rooms, pre- and post-operatory surgical accommodations as well as sterilization facilities that have air particle and air pressure requirements. In addition, the clinic has laboratory and medical office spaces with a full medical gas system.

The development is in strategic alignment with Banner’s partnerships with prominent local athletic teams, including Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Arizona Coyotes, Tucson Roadrunners, University of Arizona, Phoenix Rising Youth Soccer Club and others.
