Willmeng’s Keyvan Ghahreman and LaRina Ornelas proudly participated in the Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation’s annual check presentation to Cardon Children’s Medical Center. With funds raised by an annual golf tournament, the foundation was able to present the hospital with $102,000. The donation will be used to purchase comfort toys and organize outings for sick children at the hospital.

After the presentation, the Banner team took attendees on a tour of the facility, where they got a first-hand look at the significance of the donations. Gharemem was thoroughly impressed with the facility and staff.

“The thought and attention that has gone into the facility ties directly to the outstanding care the children receive,” said Ghahreman. “Every time a child completes a treatment, they’re able to pick a toy from the closet. When you see how the toy closet is integrated into how patients and their families are treated at Cardon, you really understand how impactful this foundation is.”

Willmeng participates annually in the foundation’s golf tournament as the Platinum Sponsor, and for four consecutive years, one of the hospital’s toy closets has been named after Audrey Murphy, Willmeng President James Murphy’s daughter.
