The Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ was the backdrop for a Game of Thrones-themed weekend.
The retreat began Friday evening with the Make it Happen Awards which recognized the most outstanding Willmeng workers. Food, drinks, and music was provided for a fun-filled start to the weekend.
Saturday started early with morning yoga and breakfast burritos. Later, the GOT-themed field games commenced with 6 teams competing for the most points. Tug-of-war and corn hole were just a few of the competitions. Kids could enjoy their own section of the resort which provided age-appropriate games, activies and movies.
Saturday evening featured an electrifying speech by the Arizona Cardinals’ former quarterback, Kurt Warner. He also interviewed Willmeng employee, Sam Dul, and his wife, Cindy Louie. Each year a Willmeng story is showcased and Sam’s journey from Cambodia along with his battle with disease was inspirational. The night ended with a celebration for Willmeng CEO, James Murphy, and his 20th anniversary with the company.
The mid-year retreat was a success in taking a step back from the day-to-day to recognize all the Willmeng wins. Thank you to everyone who took the time to be with us this weekend.
