Since 2013, Willmeng has proudly supported Chandler Compadres, a group that builds stronger families in the East Valley. Now more than ever, Willmeng understands the importance of continuing to support charity organizations throughout the Valley. Many of these organization receive the financial means to continue their mission through the events that occur throughout the year. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic cancelling large events throughout 2020, it is imperative that we continue to find ways to support these organizations that do so much for our community.
Willmeng recently participated in the Chandler Compadres Golf Classic. This event benefits underprivileged youth in the Easy Valley. Beneficiaries include the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley, ICAN Positive Programs for Youth, AzCend, Chandler Education Foundation, Fans Across America, Arizona Brainfood / Chandler Service Club Weekenders Program, and Chandler Care Center.
The Chandler Compadres were established in 1980 as a non-profit organization with the sole mission of providing support for East Valley families in need. The group started with fewer than 20 members and now has over 100 active and life members. The Chandler Compadres donate their time, resources, talents and money to help disadvantaged kids in Chandler and the east valley. Compadre members are civic-minded business and community leaders in industries which currently include agriculture, information technology, engineering, grocery, banking, law, advertising, real estate, small business and government.
