Team members and their kids from Willmeng, Northrop Grumman, and Andersen Elementary gathered to fix-up Andersen Elementary’s campus and build a ga-ga pit for students to enjoy at recess. Around 100 volunteers joined together on a Saturday morning to replace gravel throughout the campus, repaint benches in the courtyard, reorganize and build shelving for the storage closet, replace vinyl flooring in the cafeteria, and repaint parking lot lines. Andersen Elementary teachers and staff thanked Willmeng and Northrop Grumman for partnering to organize the event and providing volunteers to spend the day making their school a better place for students to explore and learn.
