Willmeng attended the Under the Stars with Camp Patrick Gala to support the overnight camp for children with Spina Bifida and their families in Payson. The gala took place at Papago Golf Course and was a memorable night for all, raising $142 ,000 for Camp Patrick.
Camp Patrick is a place where kids can strengthen their independence, try new things, and make lifelong friends with children that are similar. It was born to create a unique experience not just for the kids with Spina Bifida, but also for the families that are sending their kids off to camp. They want to bring together families and allow kids who go to the camp to grow up meeting each other. The inaugural Camp Patrick in June of 2018 was held at Whispering Hope Ranch, an amazing wheelchair-accessible facility about two hours north of Phoenix. Camp Patrick has a 1:1 ratio of staff to campers, including trained medical staff.
