Zions Bank HVAC Upgrades
Mission Critical
ABOUT
Willmeng completed a major HVAC upgrade at the Zions Bank Tower in downtown Salt Lake City, replacing aging mechanical systems in the occupied 19-story office building. The scope included new high-efficiency boilers, upgraded cooling towers, and replacement of underground chillers located 50 feet below grade, along with new electrical controls and supporting system modifications.
Willmeng employed a backward-planned demolition and installation strategy to maintain continuous system functionality. This approach supports long-term reliability and efficiency for Zions Bank’s fully occupied headquarters while preserving building operations throughout construction.
