Construction commenced on the two-story, tilt project in August 2017, and is expected to wrap up in May 2018.
“This project will provide Cambridge West with the opportunity to rent out a high-end office space in an ever-growing community,” said Project Manager Tom Fyffe. “The expansion of the existing business complex will entice more future tenants to this popular Chandler area.”
Key project features include a two-story atrium in the built-out lobby, steel balconies and awnings, and a brand new courtyard. Due to drainage requirements and limited surface area, Willmeng’s team also installed underground storm retention tanks and drywells.
Challenges were presented, but Willmeng overcame. The project started later than anticipated due to permitting, and Willmeng worked diligently to make up for chunks of time along the way to deliver the project on time.
Butler Design Group was the project architect. In addition to Fyffe, key team member included Cody Phelan, principal-in-charge; Andy Hindson, superintendent; Phil Amezquita, project engineer; Craig Waymire, project engineer; and Renee Hurtado, construction assistant.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
