Avondale K-9 Facility

The Avondale Police Department’s new K-9 Training Center provides advanced facilities to support readiness, response, and the well-being of K-9 teams. Adjacent to the detention center, the site includes  3,900 square feet of enclosed administrative and kennel space and a 5,600-square-foot outdoor training course with obstacles designed to simulate real-life law enforcement scenarios.

The center also supports broader departmental needs, including physical fitness exams for police applicants and routine assessments for current officers, demonstrating the City’s and our commitment to strengthening public safety and officer training across the community.
