ABOUT
The Kennedy Skate Park renovation project involves the design and construction of a modernized skate park, within Kennedy Memorial Park. This renovation is the first in a multi-phase expansion aimed at transforming this space into the largest skate park in Arizona. This comprehensive upgrade replaces the dated modular equipment from the early 2000s with new, state-of-the-art features inspired by community input.
Key additions include a spacious, free-flowing streetscape course, a two-level bowl, grind rails, a pump track, updated park lighting, and landscaping, offering challenges for advanced users while maintaining accessibility for beginners, and attracting skating events and professional skaters to the Yuma area.
