ABOUT

Sundance Park Phase II was a 38-acre project that boasts highly requested amenities from the community in the City of Buckeye, including a splash pad, a playground, two basketball courts, four multi-use soccer fields, a skate and bicycle park, and support facilities, and lake with 14 million gallons of water!

The park has two large ramadas suitable for public gatherings and a network of smaller ramadas situated around the lake and fields to accommodate more intimate gatherings. A large open area adjacent to the lake will serve as an additional gathering space, hosting performances, events, markets, and private parties. Broad walking paths will connect Phase I and Phase II and encircle the park’s perimeter, fostering a sense of interconnectivity. Phase II will bring greatly expanded parking capacity and traffic control.

The space works together in many ways to support water conservation efforts. The splash pad water drains into the lake and irrigates the grass and fields in the park. In addition, nature has room to thrive; there are 1,415 shrubs and ground cover plants, 197 trees, and a variety of fish in the lake stocked by the Arizona Game & Fish Department throughout the year.
