Best Places to Work Event

At the 2022 Phoenix Business Journal Best Places to Work event, Willmeng was named #2 in the Large Business category! This was so exciting for our employees, but it also reflects such a story of growth we are proud of as we have ascended through the Micro, Small, and most recently, Mid-sized company rankings over the last ten years, consistently being ranked among the Top 10—including being named #1 in back-to-back years in Small and then Mid-sized companies. This is a tremendous point of pride because we are very intentional and focused on creating an excellent workplace environment for our employees to thrive, and this recognition among our contracting peers in the industry is an incredible milestone for us. And congratulations to VIP Mortgage on being named the #1 company in this category.

This is what the Phoenix Business Journal had to say about this year’s list: “Being a great company to work for and offering extra perks and incentives to make sure employees know they are appreciated became even more important over the past year as workers’ priorities changed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Companies found themselves having to go above and beyond — increase wages, offer remote or hybrid work schedules and more — to retain workers during the Great Resignation.

But nearly 100 companies recognized at the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2022 Best Places to Work awards on Dec. 8 were already ahead of the curve — offering fun, flexible workplaces with plenty of benefits beyond health insurance.

The firms that made this year’s Business Journal’s Best Places to Work lists — based on five company size categories — are either based in the Valley or have major operations here. They employ roughly 22,230 workers.”

See the full list here from all five categories that were recognized (Micro, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large)!
