A dedication to its employees and a thriving yet unique workplace culture are among the many reasons why Willmeng Construction continues to be recognized by various organizations and awards. Most recently on June 7 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Willmeng was honored at an award breakfast for the 2018 Top Companies to work for in Arizona by the Arizona Commerce Authority and Republic Media. The general contractor claimed the third spot on the list of top medium-sized companies with 100-999 employees.

Last December, Phoenix Business Journal named Willmeng the No. 1 Best Small Place to Work for companies with 55-90 employees. Despite growing its employment base and project portfolio since then, Willmeng’s commitment to its employees and workplace culture remains constant. As a result, it was also ranked as a 2018 Best Workplace by INC.com “because leadership invests in aspects that create a thriving and unique company culture.”

‘It’s such an honor to be recognized along with so many other great firms. We’re incredibly grateful to our associates who work so hard to provide outstanding service to our clients and partners,” said Keyvan Ghahreman, director of client and reconstruction services. “They truly live our culture of taking care of our community, each other, and our customers.”

Willmeng understands that happy, productive, well-fit employees lead to satisfied clients, and positive relationships have been the key to Willmeng’s success since inception. Focusing efforts on company culture has produced the highest level of efficiency from staff as well as significantly increased retention rates. Willmeng wants to congratulate our industry peers, RKS Plumbing & Mechanical, Kitchell and D.P. Electric for also being honored as part of the 2018 Top Companies to Work for in Arizona.

“From the moment I walked in the door, I knew Willmeng is a special company,” said Jessica Zygmont, CPO/CFO. “It’s humbling to work side-by-side with such a talented and dedicated group of professionals.  The amount of diligence we place in hiring the right people is evident every day in the strong culture we share.”
