Ryan House focusses on quality of life and continuity of care by combining compassion with state-of-the-art care to provide the whole family with peace, comfort, and support. Willmeng was honored to be the title sponsor for the event again this year.
For the past 15 years, Ryan House has hosted their annual run in-person at various local parks throughout the Valley. However, due to COVID-19, this year was spent participating virtually all across the country. The race lasted an entire week from Sunday, Nov. 15 – Sunday, Nov. 23, in which participants got outside to walk or run a 5K. To kick off the festivities, Ryan House hosted a Facebook/Instagram Live kick-off party to bring purpose and excitement for all.
Over 241 people from the Willmeng Team, their family members and friends got outside to assist in Ryan House’s mission to continue to provide world-class care and programs for the medically fragile children and families. It was amazing to see the participation go through the roof with so many people able to run on their own schedule. To participate, they simply recorded their time as they ran or walked in their neighborhood, park, or treadmill during the week-long race period.
“I think it is important for Willmeng to show their support, not only as a company but as individuals and families,” shared Megan Schottke, Administrative Assistant at Willmeng. “Support that we care, are there for the families of Ryan House, and are proud of the work they do. It means community, care and love. Ryan House does so much for families and communities, the least we can do is show our support to them with a walk/run.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
