Centrica, an adaptive reuse project in the city of Mesa’s Fiesta District is officially home to Santander Consumer USA Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of global retail banking giant Banco Santander. Willmeng Construction, along with Nelsen Partners designed the environmentally conscious state-of-the-art project with abundant parking and redundant fiber optic backbone connectivity.  Additional design features include 20-foot high exposed ceilings, open floor plates, and walkable amenities.

Santander Consumer USA signed a 10-year lease for the entire 117,000 square foot Centrica project.  Phoenix Rising Investments, LLC (PRI) inked the deal in one of the largest real estate transactions of 2015.   Willmeng took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony for Centrica, which included PRI, Nelson Partners, Mesa Mayor John Giles, and city council members. This deal is especially significant because it will net Mesa’s Fiesta District almost 1,000 new jobs over the next 10 years.
