The Luke Air Force Base fire station was recently highlighted on CBS5! Willmeng completed the remodel of the base’s fire station through funding created by the 7th Annual Fighter Country Partnership Honor Commanders Golf Classic, one of the four nonprofit organizations that benefits from the Courageous Heart campaign with Fry’s Food Stores. According to the news report, the last time it was renovated was in 1996. “You can imagine over the course of 20 years wear and tear on an active fire station does take its toll,” said Chief Master Sergeant and Fire Chief, Chris Horsman of the Fire Department on Luke Air Force Base.
Many don’t realize there is an incredibly dedicated and top-notch fire department at Luke that responds to calls, both on and off base. “We do respond within a five-mile radius within Luke Air Force Base or outside of the gates automatically,” said Horseman to CBS5.
Willmeng is proud to be part of this project that enhances the environment of the wonderful men and women who serve us. See our blogs on the Honorary Commanders Golf Classic and the renovation of the fire station![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
