Willmeng supported and partnered with the Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation and Golf Tournament Committee again this year, raising money to purchase toys and organize outings for children at Cardon Children’s Medical Center and Thunderbird Medical Center.

This year, the Help Fill the Toy Closet Committee members presented a $48,000 check to Cardon Children’s and a $32,000 check to Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. In addition, the committee sponsored its first walk-in toy closet at Banner Thunderbird this year, located on the NICU floor. The majority of the toy closets at Thunderbird are either mobile closets or non-walk in closets, making the permanent closet a special addition.

Willmeng has been a dedicated supporter of the Banner Children’s Medical Centers for many years. James Murphy’s daughter, Audrey, is a former patient of Cardon Children’s Medical Center. Read Audrey Murphy’s story to learn more about Willmeng’s connection with Cardon Children’s Medical Center.
