This year, the Help Fill the Toy Closet Committee members presented a $48,000 check to Cardon Children’s and a $32,000 check to Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. In addition, the committee sponsored its first walk-in toy closet at Banner Thunderbird this year, located on the NICU floor. The majority of the toy closets at Thunderbird are either mobile closets or non-walk in closets, making the permanent closet a special addition.
Willmeng has been a dedicated supporter of the Banner Children’s Medical Centers for many years. James Murphy’s daughter, Audrey, is a former patient of Cardon Children’s Medical Center.
