Willmeng was recently recognized at as an Industry Leader of Arizona by Arizona Business. The Industry Leaders of Arizona Awards celebrates top leaders in key industries in Arizona and recognizes the contributions and impacts these top leaders in key industries have within Arizona. The 2017 Industry Leader of Arizona awards focused on key leaders in the following industries: Commercial Contracting, Education, Entertainment, Financial Services and Technology (non-software).
Willmeng was honored as a leader in the Commercial General Contractors category because of the firm’s expansion and retention of their client base and market sectors in the last decade under President James Murphy.
Experiencing a record year and remarkable employee retention, Murphy credits his team for understanding and believing that altruistic service is a key ingredient to corporate culture. Murphy’s trusted team promotes the company’s core values and continuously finds ways to build value for clients.
Willmeng positions itself as a leader in the community through their internship program, where some of the brightest students at the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University are guided through the ins and outs of the industry, and are provided with advice and feedback. In addition, the company is whole-heartedly dedicated to the community, being involved in organizations such as the East Valley Boys and Girls Club, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Desert Christian Archers and at least 30 other organizations throughout the Valley.
